BPS Application Window Open

The window for BPS applications is now open and will remain so until the 16th of May. As you will all be aware, BPS will continue to reduce this coming year. However, it is still important to ensure that applications are filled in correctly with accurate cropping.

The opening of the BPS application window has corresponded with the opportunity to submit Countryside Stewardship revenue claims, this window also runs until the 16th of May to submit a claim without penalty.

Countryside Stewardship applications are already open, with the deadline to submit an application being the 29th of July, we have already received a large amount of interest in these schemes, and we have been recommending that any clients worried about the loss of BPS consider the Countryside Stewardship scheme as a strategy to supplement that lost income.

The RPA are predicting high volumes of applications this year which is likely to result in the schemes being particularly competitive. Therefore, strong applications are essential!
