Kelly Farm Consulting is an independent Agricultural Consultancy Practice covering the South West of England. We have no ties with the supply trade and we never take supplier commission. This means we sell no feed, or any other physical products allowing us to be completely independent and unbiased.

We are currently seeking an experienced Agricultural Consultant to join our small team of 10 people.  The role will primarily cover the South West of England.  The role can be home based or office based at our offices near Bristol.  Regular travel to client's farms will be required.

Our clients are primarily dairy farmers, and the successful candidate will have a proven track record of assisting clients with herd management and monitoring. 

A keen interest in ruminant nutrition is essential.   Experience in delivering nutrition advice on farm would be an advantage, but we can provide training as required. 

 

The successful candidate will have practical experience in delivering Business Management advice directly on farm, as well as relevant qualifications. This will include grant applications, budgeting and management Accounts, benchmarking and assisting farms with HR compliance. 

 

A FACTS and or BASIS qualification would be an advantage, but this can be obtained in post if required. 

 

Given the nature of our industry, you will be a good all-rounder, and be capable of delivering advice on all aspects of the farming business. 

 

You must have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with farming businesses and expanding a client portfolio.
