AGRICULTURAL CONSULTANTS REQUIRED

Kelly Farm Consulting is an Independent Agricultural Consultancy Practice covering the South West of England. We have no ties with the supply trade and we never take supplier commission.  This means we sell no feed, or any other physical products allowing us to be completely independent and unbiased. 

 

Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking 2 experienced consultants to join our small team. 

 

RUMINANT NUTRITIONIST 

 

The successful candidate will have practical experience in delivering Nutrition advice directly on farm, as well as relevant qualifications. 

 

Given the nature of our industry, you will be a good all-rounder, and also be capable of delivering advice on all aspects of the farming business, including herd management, and business management advice. 

 

You must have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with farming businesses, and expanding a client portfolio. 

 

A competitive package is on offer including:

 

  • Salary up to £55,000 OTE 

  • Company vehicle if required

  • Generous Profit Share Scheme

  • Workplace Pension Scheme 

  • Option to buy in to the business after 12 months 

 

 

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT  

 

The successful candidate will have practical experience in delivering Business Management advice directly on farm, as well as relevant qualifications. This will include Budgeting and Management Accounts, Benchmarking, and grant/subsidy applications. 

 

Given the nature of our industry, you will be a good all-rounder, and also be capable of delivering advice on all aspects of the farming business, including herd management, and Nutrition advice. 

 

You must have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with farming businesses, and expanding a client portfolio.

Both roles will be based in the South West of England.  The roles will be based at offices near Bristol, but could be mainly home based if required. 

 

The anticipated start date for both positions is 1 July 2020.

PRACTICE MANAGER REQUIRED

Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking a Practice Manager based at our office in Aust.  

 

This is a varied role, and your duties will include data entry, database management, invoicing, bookkeeping, audio and copy typing, diary management, and other general administrative support for the Consultants.  

 

The successful candidate will have practical experience in the day to day administration of a small business and have a keen interest in Agriculture.  

 

You will be well organised, an excellent communicator, and highly IT literate.  Significantly experience with Microsoft Office is essential, including a good understanding of the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel.  

 

16 hours per week to be spread over 4 days.  We can be flexible with times worked to a certain extent.
